.........

Several years ago Benjamin franklin shared with the world the secret to his success
"Never leave that till tommorrow" he said "which you could do today."
I mean , he discovered electricity. You'd think we'd listen to what he had to say.
I dont know why we put things off. If i had to guess i'd say it has a lot to do with fear.
Fear of falure
Fear of pain
Fear of rejection
Most times fear of just making a decision
because, what if your wrong?
What if your making a mistake you can't undo?
What ever it is we are afraid of
one thing hold true; that by the time the pain of not doing the thing gets worse than the fear of doing it
it can feel like your carrying around a tumour.
'The early bird catches the worm'
'A stitch in time saves nine'
'He who hesitates is lost'
We can't say we havent been told
we've all heard the proverbs from philosopheres
our parents warning us about wasted time
freakin poets tellin us to sieze the day
Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves
we have to make our own mistakes
learn our own lessons
Sweep todays possibilities under tommorrows rug
untill we cant
Untill finally we understand like benjamin franklin ment
that knowing is better than wondering
that workin is better than sleeping
And that even the biggest and worst faliure
the most unretractable mistake
beats the hell out of never trying.
